To Daoguanggong

   Daoguanggong is a kind of Qigong , which was left behind by Lao Zi, the great philosopher of ancient China. It is also the Qigong handed down by Master Zhou Shitai—the Successor of Daoguanggong after long years of practice . Since Daoguanggong was brought to the society in 1990, its special effect in improving health and curing diseases has had tremendous impact. People who practice Daoguanggong can be found all over China and in foreign countries.
    The full name of Daoguanggong is Daode Daoren Yangguang Gong (which means the Qigong of Taoists, Taoist priests and sunshine). Master Zhou Shitai, the successor of Daoguanggong , is a master with extraordinary powers , noble moral integrity and unusual abilities.
    In 1930, Master Zhou Shitai was born in a poor peasant family in Sangyuanzi Village of Yuzhong County , Gansu Province. In his childhood, he tasted to the full the bitterness of life in the old society. In the period of the War of Liberation, he joined the PLA, and fought heroically for the liberation of the Chinese people. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1954. He successively held the post of the chief of the correspondence section of a certain unit in the Lanzhou military area command, and the head of the correspondence department of a certain unit in the Air Force. In April 1982, Master Zhou was transferred to civilian work, and appointed the director of the Organization Department of a certain college in Xi’an city, and he retired in July 1990. During the 40 years, Master Zhou Shitai made great contributions to the building of the PLA , and to the cause of socialist construction of our motherland.
    Master Zhou Shitai has practiced Qigong for a long time. As a result of his strict conscientious and hard practice , he has got the real essence of Daoguanggong in the state of “Tianren xiangying” (correlation of Heaven and man),and has obtained exceptional powers.
    Master Zhou Shitai has mastered the method and theory of Qigong ,and can cure diseases . He never seeks fame or money.
    Master Zhou Shitai has noble moral qualities and an extremely high level of practice . He has very effective powers for curing diseases. He has cured thousands upon thousands of patients.
    Master Zhou Shitai acts on the orders of his master, and is motivated by the goal of Daoguanggong :”Carrying forward our ancestors’ achievements, Sending out widely the light of Qigong , Curing the diseases to save patients.” He made public the secret method of Daoguanggong, which was never known to past generations. The aim of Daoguanggong is to make every practitioner healthy, kind, conscientious in work, love the Communist Party of China, love the socialist motherland, make contributions to the cause of rejuvenating China, and the four modernization. Therefore Daoguanggong has been fully approved and widely supported by Party, organizations and associations of scientific research of Qigong at all levels. This is also an important reason for the quick development of Daoguanggong .
    In 1993, Daoguanggong came to Beijing , the capital of our country. Although Daoguanggong “has never conducted propaganda nor solicited learners”, Its miraculous effect of curing diseases has spread like wildfire, passing quickly from mouth to mouth. It has already won several thousand believers. These new learners of Daoguanggong have obtained the powers of curing diseases and begun to cure the patients without asking for money. During the past 5 years, over a hundred thousand people have been cured by the learners of Daoguanggong in Beijing .And the rate of effective cure is very high. In 1993, Daoguanggong Association was set up in Beijing, and it has joined the Association of Qigong research of Beijing as a regular member.
    There are 3 steps in Daoguanggong: the first step is Zhan’gong (a kind of standing),the great vehicle of Daoguanggong ;the second step is Yongcungong (meaning to exist forever),the intermediate grade of Daoguanggong ;the third step Yongshougong (meaning to live forever),the advanced grade of Daoguanggong ,and Yanliaogong (the method of curing eyes),the great method of Daoguanggong .
    Daoguanggong has the following characteristics:
    1. The method of Daoguanggong is simple, easy to learn and easy to remember, get Qi fast, the curative effect is particularly good ,and has no side reaction.
    2. Daoguanggong is a method for maintaining good healthy and a method of treating patient, it has clear effect of building up a good physique and curing diseases. So it has been well received by the broad masses .
    3.The method of Daoguanggong takes the moral integrity as the foundation, looking upon the moral as the most important thing. It changes the mode of people’s thinking . A person’s moral is strengthened when his qigong power is raised.
    4.Daoguanggong is most truthful, most honest, most scientific, and most realistic. It has nothing to do with superstition. It calls on learners to be good Party members, good cadres, good workers, good peasants and successors to the cause of the proletariat.
